Thorndon Quay Billboard Pile

Tascon built the foundation for a new billboard at Thorndon Key for Hanlon Industries. The job was a single 890 mm diameter pile, 6 m deep, with a full steel casing driven the full depth and no pile cap.

The whole job ran on night shift. That meant mobilising the excavator in and out each night, and hoarding the area off after hours so the site stayed safe for the public. We drove the casing full depth to hold the bore and get the pile down clean. Cade, Jamie and Valentin delivered it.
