Aotea Lagoon Upgrade - Decorative Concrete Walls

As part of the full refurbishment of the southern section of Aotea Lagoon in Porirua, Tascon was engaged to deliver key structural concrete works supporting the new terraced parkland and pedestrian pathways.

Tascon’s scope included the full supply and construction of reinforced concrete footings, architectural concrete walls finished with a 4% black oxide, and a cast-in-place concrete stage integrated into the landscaped public space. These elements form a core part of the terraces and pathways within the upgraded park area.

All works were delivered on a full supply-and-install basis, requiring close coordination with other trades to achieve both the structural and aesthetic requirements of this high-profile public space.
